Dr. Henderson graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in emergency and general practices in Texas and Saskatoon before coming to Calgary where she joined a large general practice, managing hospitalized cases. I 2005, she began a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at VCA CARE Centre. After completing the Residency in 2008, she became board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Dr. Henderson has been practicing at VCA Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre since 2009 and served as Medical Director from 2010-2019. Special interests include endocrinopathies, immune-mediated disease, gastrointestinal disease and just about all other areas of Internal Medicine.
