Speaker Bios

Dr. Aylin Atilla graduated from veterinary school in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania, and did an internship at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She has completed a surgical residency and Master’s degree in biomedical sciences at Auburn University and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Prior to joining CARE, she practiced at a large referral hospital in the Washington, DC area. Her professional interests are in surgical oncology, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. A former resident of Medicine Hat, she is pleased to be back home in Alberta. She is joined by her two dogs, one cat, and a husband.
