Description:

Good communication between the primary clinician and radiologist is vital for high quality, accurate, and nuanced study interpretation for ensuring optimal patient care. The aim of this talk is to provide deeper insight into the teleradiology partnership, and focus on key aspects that enhance that relationship from study design to report expectations.

Speaker Biography:

Dr. Tim Spotswood

Tim is a native of South Africa and graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1993. He returned to his alma mater to complete a master’s degree in Diagnostic Imaging in 2005 in canine echocardiography and became a diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2003. 
 
Tim was a senior lecturer in Radiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, UP, for 7 years before moving to Calgary, Canada, in 2006 into private referral practice. 
 
Tim deals in the dark arts of clinical and teleradiology, occasionally emerging to travel, swim, or kayak.
