Brian Skorobohach graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After 2 years of mixed animal practice he participated in a one-year rotating internship at The Atlantic Veterinary College. From there he went on to complete residency training in veterinary ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Skorobohach has been with the VCA CARE Centre for 20 years.

Along with practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Skorobohach is a lecturer in veterinary ophthalmology at The University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for 15 years. Dr. Skorobohach’s work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and he has authored several textbook chapters. An active advocate of continuing education for veterinary professionals and students, he has lectured on various small animal ophthalmology topics both regionally, nationally and internationally.
