Speaker Bios

Dr. Diaz graduated from Universidad De La Salle in Colombia in 1996. He completed a residency in small animal neurology at the Ontario Veterinary College and Canada West Veterinary Specialists and Critical Care Centre. Dr. Diaz is the first specialist to offer a Veterinary Neurologist Service in Alberta. His areas of interest and expertise include providing consultation and treatment for patients with neurologic disorders including spinal cord diseases and neurosurgery, epilepsy, meningoencephalitis, and neuromuscular diseases.

In his free time, Dr. Diaz enjoys photography with a special interest in wildlife as well as spending time with his wife, 2 daughters, 1 son as well as their 2 cats and 2 dogs.
