Topic: Corneal Opacities in Dogs and Cats Description: The cornea is transparent, densely innervated, avascular, and the major refractive structure of the eye. Anything that alters this organization or deturgescence leads to development of a corneal opacity. We will explore the different appearance of the opacities, causes and treatment of these conditions.
Dr. Kelli Combs Ramey Topic: Common Mistakes in Ophthalmology and How to Avoid Them Description: Identify and avoid common mistakes to optimize patient outcome and client satisfaction. We will discuss prioritizing diagnostics, proper use of topical therapy, non healing ulcers, cataract management, hypertensive retinopathy, and more. 2 CE credits approved by ABVMA & CVBC.
